Canadian Cancer Relay For Life

This year Colony President, David Thompson, Project Coordinator, Sara Gourlie and Marketing Director, Susan Gough will be participating in the 2007 Canadian Cancer Society’s, Relay for life at Mahon Park in North Vancouver on June 9th. This will be David and Sara’s first year participating in the relay and Susan’s second.

Like many Canadians, Susan suffered the loss of her father through lung cancer. The Colony team is doing their part to raise awareness for this horrible disease with hopes to one day see the elimination of it. They strongly believe that by working together, we can end the suffering caused by cancer. This event is an opportunity for all Canadians to honour those who have lost the battle with cancer, and celebrate the lives of those who have survived it. The funds raised through this event will go towards the search for a cure, and help for those living with the disease. Last year the Canadian Cancer Relay for Life brought in over $100 million in donations with North Vancouver raising over $ 262,000. You can help break last year’s record by donating to the cause.
